On Friday, 1 August 2025, the Department of Chemical Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, KMUTT, welcomed a group of 48 teachers and students from Klaeng “Wittayasathaworn” School who visited the department and participated in the activity “Exploring Chem Eng KMUTT” under the ChE KMUTT–Education Alliance project.
📌 The program began with an introductory lecture on Chemical Engineering delivered by our faculty members, providing insight into the curriculum, study pathways, and future career opportunities.
📌 This was followed by visits and demonstrations at actual teaching laboratories, including:
🔹 Hands-on practice with ASPEN Plus, an industrial chemical process simulation software
🔹 Packed Tower – demonstration of packed distillation
🔹 Liquid–Liquid Extraction – separation by solvent extraction
📌 The group also toured the engineering workshop and engaged in a friendly Q&A session with our staff and instructors. 👩🏫👨🔬
The atmosphere was filled with fun, learning, and inspiration 💡.
This activity plays an important role in broadening students’ perspectives and helping them develop a clear and accurate understanding of what Chemical Engineering truly is.
