On Monday, 2 September 2025, the Department of Chemical Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, KMUTT, warmly welcomed 50 teachers and students from Assumption College Rayong who visited the department and participated in the “Exploring Chem Eng KMUTT” activity under the ChE KMUTT–Education Alliance project.
📌 The program began with an introductory lecture on Chemical Engineering, delivered by faculty members to provide students with an overview of the curriculum, study pathways, and future career opportunities.
📌 The visit continued with tours and demonstrations at actual teaching and research laboratories, including:
🔹 Hands-on practice and demonstrations using ASPEN Plus, a chemical process simulation software widely used in industry
🔹 Distillation Column – separation through distillation
🔹 Packed Tower – packed-bed distillation
🔹 Liquid–Liquid Extraction – solvent extraction process
📌 The group also toured the engineering workshop and engaged in an open Q&A session where students could freely ask questions about chemical engineering.
