Department of Chemical Engineering

Faculty of Engineering,  King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi (KMUTT)

The Department of Chemical Engineering at King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi (KMUTT) began offering an undergraduate program in 1974, a Master’s program in 1982, and a Ph.D. program in 1991. The primary objective of the Department is to produce engineers and researchers who are highly proficient and knowledgeable in both theoretical foundation and practical application of chemical engineering, while being rooted in moral and ethical values of citizenship. These new chemical engineers will fulfill the needs of the country in terms of its economic development. 

The Bachelor of Engineering Program in Chemical Engineering is accredited by the Engineering Accreditation Commission of ABET, https://www.abet.org, under the commission’s General Criteria and Program Criteria for Chemical, Biochemical, Biomolecular, and Similarly Named Engineering Programs.
