📍 On Wednesday, 5 November 2025, from 14:00–16:00,
the Department of Chemical Engineering, King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi, led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Piyabutr Wanichpongpan, together with 23 third-year students from the international program (CHE 472 Environmental Chemical Engineering, Semester 1/2025), had the privilege of visiting the facilities of PTT LNG Company Limited (a PTT Group company) at the Map Ta Phut Industrial Estate, Rayong Province.
The group was warmly welcomed by Mr. Warin Iamtheerapaiboon (คุณวารินทร์ เอี่ยมธีระไพบูลย์), Deputy Managing Director – Engineering & Maintenance (KMUTT Chemical Engineering alumni). He provided an informative briefing covering the company’s operations, Thailand’s energy security, various applications of liquefied natural gas (LNG), engineering processes, and the role of chemical engineers within the organization.
